  • How Educational Leaders use Blogs

    2.23.2011
Blogs are a resource that can be used by administrators as a method of journaling or brainstorming. It’s a way of getting thoughts down in a forum that allows for easy recall and commenting from others. It can also be a means of collecting data from self-reflection (Dana, 2009, pp.87-89). The collaborative aspect of blogging allows for insight into the thought process, and it allows for peer review.

I am new to blogging and learning how administrators can use this 'piece' of technology. I see that blogging is an easy way to access older information that was posted. I never thought of it used as 'brainstorming' until recently.

I am new to blogs as well. However, I do see the advantage of using blogs for leaders to generate ideas and brainstorming, as you mention in your blog. I am excited to see where these discussions lead us later on throughout our internship plan.
